Dree Hemingway is an American actress, fashion model, and muse. The eldest daughter of actress Mariel Hemingway and businessman Stephen Crisman, Dree spent her childhood in the open air and wide landscapes of Sun Valley, Idaho. After graduating from high school, she studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, developing her interests in the creative arts. Dree made her fashion debut in 2009 walking for the house of Givenchy. Shortly after, her refined beauty and contagious personality became a choice subject for creatives across the industry. Her performance as the lead actress received critical acclaim and was praised for its naturalistic style. The film premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival and was later released in theaters. After her successful debut, Dree continued to pursue acting and appeared in several other films. In 2014, she starred in the film “Listen Up Philip,” directed by Alex Ross Perry. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received positive reviews from critics. In 2015, Dree appeared in the comedy-drama film “While We’re Young,” directed by Noah Baumbach. She played the role of the character named Tipper, alongside a cast that included Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, and Adam Driver. In 2016, Dree starred in the indie drama “Live Cargo,” directed by Logan Sandler. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and received critical acclaim for its cinematography and performances. In 2018, Dree was featured in a starring role for Sam Boyd’s film, “In a Relationship,” alongside Emma Roberts. In 2020, Dree wrote and starred in a short film directed by Lauren Caris Cohan, titled, “Day 47.” 2023 saw&nbsp;Dree featured in the Nicol Paone directed thriller, “The Kill Room,” alongside Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson as well as a short titled, “All We Have Left.”Dree currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
