NICKY WHELAN

Nicky Whelan&nbsp;is an Australian actress. Born&nbsp;in Victoria, Australia, Whelan comes from a family with a rich sports background—her grandfather, Marcus Whelan, was a well-known Australian rules footballer. Her early life was characterized by her love for performance, which eventually led her to pursue a career in acting. Whelan’s first major break came in her home country when she was cast as Pepper Steiger&nbsp;in the popular Australian soap opera *Neighbours* (2006-2007). Her role on the show garnered significant attention and helped launch her career internationally. After leaving *Neighbours*, Whelan moved to Los Angeles to pursue opportunities in Hollywood. In the U.S., she landed a variety of roles, both in television and film. Some of her notable television work includes guest appearances on Entourage (2010), Scrubs&nbsp;(2009–2010), and Franklin &amp; Bash&nbsp;(2013). Whelan made her mark in the film industry with performances in movies like Hall Pass&nbsp;(2011), a comedy directed by the Farrelly Brothers, where she starred alongside Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis. She has since appeared in several other films, including *Left Behind* (2014), *The Wedding Ringer* (2015), and the horror-thriller Trauma Center&nbsp;(2019), where she starred opposite Bruce Willis.
